Dolabedi is actually a temple structure with a swing, often found in village entrances near village deity’s temple compound. During Holi, deities come out and take a tour of the village in a palanquin, are offered prasad, and swing in the Dolabedis. These sarees have taken insprations from actual dolabedis found in villages of Odisha.

Made using finest of Mulberry Silk, using dobby and Jaala techniques for weaving of Border and anchal. It’s colourful, beautifyl, and often qualifies as a wedding saree in Odia traditional weddings.
