Habaspuri-Jamuni

Heritage weave from the District of Kalahandi. Habaspuri Sarees are known for their distinct Fish motifs weaved using shuttle( No Dobby for creation of borders) and an elaborate Fish motif Extra Weft Anchal. Weaved by Meheres or Bhuliya community people from Chechiguda as well as Habaspur villages of Kalahandi district. Weaved in fine cotton, these are collectibles in every saree connoisseur’s wardrobe. Color- Plum-Pink, Borders- Maroon-Red. Anchal- Black, Maroon. Blouse running
